Welcome!

As the National Vice Presidents of the 2th, 3rd, 4th and 14th Districts of the American Federation of Government Employees, we welcome you to Atlantic City and to the AFGE Regional Training.

Many exciting courses will be offered – from Representation and Collective Bargaining to Financial Officers training – and even more! A complete list of the course selections can be found atwww.afge.org/RegionA.

AFGE takes great pride in the quality of its educational programs because we know that you want to receive the best training available for running your Local and representing your members. Our instructors bring many years of experience to this program and we are confident you will be impressed with their knowledge and skills.

Registration
$100 (if registered and paid by June 1, 2012)
$150 (must register by June 14, 2012)

Registration Policy

 The cost for registration is $100.00 per person until June 1. After June 1st, the registration fee will be $150. Registration can be completed one of three (3) ways:

1.     Online Registration: Payment can be made online via credit card or via money order or check made payable to AFGE and mailed to AFGE, Attn:  Carolyn
Williams, 80 F Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001. 
Please write Region A – Regional Training in the memo line.

2.     Mail-In Registration:  AFGE, Attn: Carolyn Williams, 80 F Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001.  Payment can be made via money order or check made payable to AFGE.

3.     Faxed Registration:  Fax to (202) 777-3070, Attn: Carolyn Williams.  Payment can be made via money order or check made payable to AFGE and mailed to AFGE, Attn: 
Carolyn Williams, 80 F Street, NW, Washington, DC  20001.

Registration is not complete until payment is received. 

Note: Conference registrations cancelled before June 1st will be entitled to a full refund. There will be no refund for cancellations made after June 1st. Personal emergencies,( such as a death in the family or injury/illness) will be granted an exception on a case by case basis, as determined by the respective AFGE District office.

 
 

Hotel Accommodations

    A block of rooms have been held at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Be sure to ask for the AFGE group rate of $85 per night not including taxes and fees. The cutoff date for the discounted room rate is May 19, 2012. Parking

 If you need parking accommodations at the hotel, there is a self-park garage and valet parking available. There is a $5 minimum charge per 24-hour period for each vehicle parked on the premisis (price is subject to change).
